Reed Knutson Founder/President

Reed, a veteran with over 18 years on active duty, currently serves as the Senior Enlisted Advisor of Public Affairs for the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne). He passionately supports veterans through his non-profit work, participating in initiatives like Operation Enduring Warrior and the Mountain Man Memorial March. Married to Janine and a father of four, Reed fosters a love for outdoor adventure in his children and is dedicated to the success of the Two Ravens Foundation.

Ralph Boyd Co-Founder/Secretary

MSG Ralph C. Boyd Jr., a native of Chicago, Illinois, entered the Army Reserves on July 23, 2001, and later transferred to Active Duty in 2003. He has served as a Transportation Management Coordinator (MOS 88N) and has been deployed multiple times, including tours in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Kuwait. Boyd is single with no children and has dedicated over two decades to military service.

Janine Knutson Treasurer

Janine is a world traveler with extensive experience in adapting to new environments. Having grown up in Germany and being married to an Active Duty soldier, she has relocated her family from Germany to North Carolina and now to Clarksville, Tennessee. As the Treasurer of the Two Ravens Foundation, Janine brings a wealth of experience from her diverse career background, which includes roles as a Sous-chef, Inventory Manager at a major department store, and Assistant Manager at an international clothing boutique. Her ability to handle any challenge with a focused mind and warm heart makes her an invaluable asset to the foundation.

Chris Lancia Co-Founder/Board Member

Chris has over 25 years of service in the U.S. Army, specializing in Aviation, Public Relations, and Logistics. Currently, he is a Tennessee Governor’s Veteran Fellow, working on military and veteran initiatives. Retiring from the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment, he last served as Director of Public Affairs. Chris holds a bachelor’s degree in English Communications and is pursuing a master’s in Public Policy. He has been involved in non-profit leadership roles for over a decade and co-founded Grid Square Recon, LLC, to connect military families with their communities. Married with two children, Chris enjoys woodworking, photography, and exploring Tennessee’s outdoors.

Ryan Cowley Board Member

Ryan Cowley, a board member of the Two Ravens Foundation, is dedicated to leveraging equine therapy to support veterans. His military journey began in 2006 as an Infantryman with the 101st Airborne Division, followed by service in the 25th Infantry Division and as a Green Beret with the 1st Special Forces Group. He medically retired in 2021 after serving as an instructor at the Special Forces Senior Leader Course. Ryan discovered his passion for horsemanship while training wild mustangs at Fort Liberty and has since engaged with non-profits like the Jinx McCain Horsemanship Program and War Horses for Veterans. As a mentor and coach, he is committed to connecting veterans with the therapeutic benefits of equine activities, helping them heal and thrive through horsemanship.
